Matt is an individual who has always enjoyed helping others and has been in the Financial Industry since 2011. He began his career at MassMutual as a career agent where he fell in love with being a team member for his business clients. It wasn’t until the unexpected passing of his wife Heather in 2015 that he gained firsthand knowledge of the importance of having a financial plan in place.
Matt loves being a Wealth Advisor, because of all the flexibility to help clients better understand their options and strategies when it comes to tools such as; 401k plans, Simple plans, SEP plans, IRA’s, Alternative Investments, Disability, Long Term Care and Life Insurance to name a few.
Matt is a Native Idahoan who grew up in the swimming pool. These days you will find him close to any water activity, on the beach, behind the boat or below the water’s surface. In addition to Wake Surfing, Skiing and Scuba Diving he likes to Golf. He and his wife Annie, reside in Meridian Idaho where they are raising three teenage girls, whom are the last of their 7 children.

My wife Robin and I grew up in Illinois and both graduated from Southern Illinois University. My bachelors is a BS in Physics. I then entered the Air Force and was a communications officer. I received my MS in Space Operations from the Air Force Institute of Technology. After 15 years I left the Air Force and took my family that now included our daughter and son and became a technology professional.
I worked at HP for a long time as an Expert Level Engineer and as a Pre-Sales Engineer. After getting tired of the tech business I became a financial advisor at Thrivent Financial and then Legacy Wealth Management.
